How many lands, ramp and draw do Commander decks run?

We counted 10,794 popular public Commander decks on Moxfield, most of them among its most-viewed, using the same code EDHTuner runs on your deck. The decks were collected in July 2026, and each one is filed under the bracket its owner gave it on Moxfield.

Each cell shows the median first. The range after it covers the middle half of decks, so a quarter of decks run less than the range and a quarter run more.

What each row counts

Lands are cards whose front face is a land. A spell with a land on its back face counts as a spell here.

Ramp is anything that makes extra mana or puts extra lands into play, like Sol Ring, mana creatures and land searches. Cost reducers count too when the deck has spells they discount.

Card advantage is a card that leaves you with more cards than it cost, like Harmonize. Cards that only replace themselves are left out, and so are looting and draw you have to use the same turn.

Targeted disruption is removal, counterspells and other answers aimed at one thing, like Swords to Plowshares.

Mass disruption covers board wipes like Wrath of God and other cards that hit many permanents at once.

Protection is cards that keep your commander or your board alive, like Lightning Greaves.

How to read them

These numbers describe what popular decks run. A deck with a clear plan can run less of something on purpose. A deck that wins in combat may skip board wipes, and a landfall deck often runs more lands than the median.

The decks are the most-viewed on Moxfield, so they lean toward tuned, popular builds more than the average kitchen-table deck does.
